WOW.......got an email earlier this week that Long Ride Shields is having a one day sale today in honor of Veterans offering up to 70% off.

I'm gonna pick up one of their $129 Ultra Wide screens for 39.60 today to match the standard shield that I've been riding behind for a little over a year now....What a deal!

Just wanted to throw this out there for those of you looking for a new screen

Thanks...that's a great deal...... :)

a bit more for tinted versions though but still great price!

Don't want to hijack this posting but question on windscreen with curve......without going too tall to keep the bike low profile looking what is a good height to stay for 5'11" person? I have a 9" screen without curve now and my eye level is right at the top of the shield so I have to either sit up a bit or crunch down a bit....?????

Thanks!

LRS directs that you select a height that is two inches below your eye-level. Their measurements are vertical from the center bolt- not from the top of the fairing- so keep that in mind when selecting a height.
This is from LRS:
"You want the top of the shield to be about 2 inches below your line of sight. If you are looking through the shield, mark the shield directly in your line of sight when looking straight ahead. Then measure up to the tape, and subtract 2 inches. Works great, every time."

I'm short and prefer their 7 inch- for what it's worth.

Great, thanks.....I will check when I get home and go with that.
