How does your bike when when it is cold out

How much better does your FI harley run when its cold out? My bike has been back to be tuned 3 times and I think it is still off. Does your FI bikes run like the old carb bikes when its cold?

Nope. Mine runs great, but I haven't messed with tuning. I just have V&H pipes

Mine runs great also but I HAVE added full Stage 1 w/ FP3 tuner.

How cold is cold for you and the bike? My bike might hesitate when is cold like in first few second then it is all good.

mine runs good in hot air, but at 60 degree it will spin the tire and pull out of your hands when you shift

I have f complete stage 1 with fp3 also and i think it runs better when temps are around 40 and 50s.

I have stage one with dealer ECM download. Fires up fine and idles nicely in cold weather (30* - 50*) as well as it does above 50*.
The old school CV carbs (EVO) worked pretty well in most temps even with the high performance accelerator kit and reworked slide assuming the jetting was correct and the enrichener set right.
God help you if you had an S&S carb that was not dialed in to perfection or a carb without a choke.
I like the fuelies because it's a set em and forget em proposition.

My 14 SGS has done great even in the 20's. I have SE259E cams, SE tuner with dyno tune, and V&H cat delete 2" primaries with 4" Rinehearts.

My 2016 loves the cool air ..... However, she does snap, crackle, & pop sometimes when I downshift coming to a stop .....

She's had V&H Dresser Duals, 4" Rhineharts, & a SE A/C with an FP3 installed .....

Other than that she's a great ride .....

My 15 SGS with s&is stealth ac and Reinhardt slimlines doesn't miss a beat in cold. Battery on the other hand didn't do so well in 12 degrees in Pa last month..
