I need more light

I work nights so it's a must for me to ride at night if I want to ride to work witch is where I go 90%of the time when I leave the house. I have the daymaker LED head light already it's not enough. So I need auxiliary lights. But I dislike the looks of the HD passing lamps.

Thinking about picking up a set of rigid industries duallys to mount either on the engine guard or use the black HD passing lamp/ turn signal mounts.

Here's the dilemma. Afraid the square lights will take away from the looks of the bike.

I feel ya...Installed the trucklite 7, much better than stock but I would still like to have more light. Most of the time I am riding with the high beam on unless I am on a 2 lane road. I am probably going to go with the HD passing lights with LED. I also saw those square lights and I don't think I would be happy with the looks. Just my opinion.

Just pulled the trigger on black HD aux buckets and black daymaker bulbs dealer installed

Is there a all on mod that will allow the high and low beam on at the same time?

The stock headlight turns both high and low on at the same time. Not sure if the LED should too?

You do need a software setting from the dealer to enable turning on the aux lamps with the high beam.

The daymaker shuts the low off when high is enabled. I would like both on when high is enabled. I think it would help greatly.

If that change was intentional, I would assume there is either a temperature or power limitation in the lamp assembly.

From what I have read online. It was done to conform to DOT regs.

Apparently after further research the 5.75" daymaker fires high and low beam when high is enabled but the 7" does not.
It has to be something in the Daymaker bulb if the halogen fires both high and low.

It's software that turns them off on high beams cause it's illegal in some states.

It legal to run the aux lamps with high beam in WI. They set the software so they are on with high beam.
