Well yesterday was my birthday and my wife gave me a HD gift card yesterday morning. We came home to find that my mom and dad also gave me one and my mother in law gave me a check. So I have about 450 to spend, not sure what I'm going to get, but it will be fun shopping for the bike.

Well, congratulations on the new found wealth. Unfortunately the HD dealership will probably gobble that up right away!!

If you don't mind waiting a bit and saving some $$$ get the part numbers and call Jon from Horny Toad Harley, free shipping and really good prices!

I always go to my local dealer. They have a good rewards program.

Evlink2006 you can send your list so I can use it as a cheat sheet.

Best thing to do... prioritize. ... whats most important to you... then work down the list.

Now if your first item is too much... just save it. If you settle for something else... you will kick yourself later

BTW.... $450 only equates to $4.5 Harley Bucks... lol

Your right, 450 doesn't get much, but it's money that I didn't have the other day.

You can get a few goodies.. I always use my gift cards on items I normally wouldn't spend my hard earned cash on(HD clothing) start in the clearance rack

Charcoal pearl,4"jackpot,decat head pipe,tuner,21" Costal moto rim, chopped tour pak,Rockford amp and speaker upgrade. SE stage 1.

Well I spent my money today. Time to spend a couple of hours in the garage and install everything.

Have fun! I hope you bought where you get a good discount with your Rewards Pgm.

Well me and my son, who is 4, got everything installed yesterday. I think the biggest visual impact is the chrome mirrors.

Mojo my dealers reward program is pretty good. I get 10% back on everything, there is several time through out the year where they double it. I'm sure I can order some of the items on line cheaper, but I like have the relationship with them.

Looks like ya got some nice stuff! Congrats on your purchase and I bet your son enjoyed it too!

Thanks, he really loves to be in the garage with me, gotta admit I love it too.

KEEP HIM THERE!!! Teach him everything you can! At 11 yrs old, my twins, Anthony and Timothy ( now 23 yrs old ) were taught how to rebuild a Dana 60 front axle. From hubs to setting pre-load and backlash on ring and pinions.... Now, they both have some pretty nice Duramax Trucks, lifted and hopped up.... all work done by them. their friends always pick their brains. My third son, Daniel ( 21 yrs old ) works for an offroad company in SOCAL and races on the side.

Teach them well.....

I cant afford a Duramax... and no need for one at this point...lol!

I've leaved from my dad and other family members and I will be passing it down to him. He is my mini me. Here's a pic of him on his 1st birthday on a bike I built him.
