This is great information,
I had thought about the HD 6.5 upgrade speakers @ $200 but, after putting on the True Duals and Rush slip ons I can't hear the darn radio anymore anyway!!!!
and so it goes . . . . . ha ha

Yes, signal to noise ratio is a big problem. I went a different direction with J&M available to those who wear a helmet. I also wanted a headset for voice control of the infotainment system. I posted the solution here: Headset

I'm using a similar cable from H-D (p/n 69200865). I did not want the dangling plug in socket so I put on the ultra tank console with the socket mount built in.
