King tour pack transfer

I have a 2015 SGS and I am looking for a tour pack. I might have one lined up but its off an 08 street glide. The only thing I need to get is the mount and it will bolt up correct???

It should bolt up to the mount- do you have 4-point quick detach? The Rushmore models (starting in 2014), have a different sized tour pak- they are more streamlined- less boxy. The thing you have to ensure, is that the saddlebag lids still open while the tour pack is on.

I have the 4 point on the bike from the passenger backrest but that's it. I have the Rushmore but its nearly impossible to find a denim black tour pack

Yeah, I bought mine (Denim Black) new with the bike- might as well take out a 2nd on the house- it ain't cheap-

Just buy the Rushmore (2014+ mount) and you will likely need 3/8" spacers so the lids clear....you will also need to modify the mount just a little (drill holes in new mount to get the correct position). I used my 2005 king tour pak and cut up a plastic chopping board (7/16" think) as a spacer so I wouldn't have to worry about any issues with moisture.

It's worth an hours work to save $$$$ vs. buying a new one.

I also ordered a lock for it matched to the bike key for around $25 from the dealer so all the locks now use the same key.

I put a par off of an 09 on my 14 SGS. just made a couple flat metal pieces to go between the pack and the quick disconnect rack. This gives you a bit more support and a place to drill the new holes in the park to match up with the rack. Hope that all makes sense. Just make sure they are thick enough to get the clearance with saddle bag lids. I have to flex my lids a little to get them to open.

I installed my Tour Pack today. It has the 4 point quik release, LED's, speakers, and optional luggage rack. Came off a friends totaled 2014 Ultra. Got it at a steal!
