Kudos...."To gain kudos is to earn respect and recognition."
My Street Glide is bike #9. I started in 1961 on a brand new 5 hp Cushman. Six were Harleys and two were Jap. One of the Japs was a Yamaha YZF600 that I tried to kill myself on. This may sound strange, but none of my previous bikes handled so nimbly as my Street Glide. The SG just falls into curves, begging for you to roll on the power mid-curve. Granted, my other bikes were not touring bikes, and maybe that is the difference.....just my lack of riding other styles....most were cruisers and bar hoppers. But, dangit, I love the way the SG handles. I am still trying to gain enough confidence in handling this large bike, to lean into the curves for all she's got. Maybe I am intimidated by the fairing.
Any comments on confidence boosting would be appreciated.
Kudos to Harley Davidson!
