April 25-29th in Laughlin NV

I guess I can say I’ve somewhat organized a group ride down to Laughlin for this year!!!!

I recruited TomA, and Spazz so far for this ride, and if anyone else is either going or thinking about going let us know!!!!!

We are leaving Reno, and Battle Mountain areas on the 25th riding to Vegas, staying the night there then will head down to Laughlin the 26th. And then heading back home the 29th!!!

I for one am really excited and looking forward to this trip!! It will be my first big ride and overnight trip with my bike. And going with a couple great guys as well, so that helps!!!!

Anyone else going this year????

I will throw this out there FYI...

COLORS ARE BANNED FROM THIS EVENT.

So if you are flying colors, you need to put them up before you get to Laughlin, you will be stopped/detained or worse....

This is going to be a fun trip with some good brothers. I'm trading this trip for the Arizona bike week I have been doing the last 5 years. Time for a change and see some different country and sites. Now I need to get this bike broke in again before we leave in April.

I know there are several forum members that go every year to this event maybe we can set up a meet and greet.
 
I am heading out there with couple of my friends too......leaving on 24th and returning on 28th. Will be staying at Aquarius....

Also If you are coming from areas that no helmet law and don't like to wear helmet.....you will be stopped and get cited so bring helmet.
 
Blkdragon. Good point on the helmets.

We are staying at aquarius as well We should all make a point to meet up?!!! Put some faces to names and bikes!!!

For sure.....we'll definitely need to meet up!
 
This is going to be a fun trip for sure can't wait. As far as the helmet thing we have to wear them in Nevada so we will have them on but when we hit the Arizona border off they come and let the fun begin.

ROFLMBO!!!! We all have to definitely meet one night.....as we get closer to April let's find a spot for everyone to get together...I know we all have friends we ride with but I am sure they don't mind coming along..... :)

We all are God’s creation so no one is ugly.....definitely let’s get together for a beer or two....let’s at least try..... :)
 
Bringing this back to the top again to see if anybody else has plans to attend this year.
 
Planning to arrive with a couple of buds on the 25th, need to leave on the morning of the 28th. We’re traveling down the Coronado to Tombstone, then back north to Laughlin. Colorado weather in late April could cause us to abort the trip at the last minute, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed. If a meet is planned on the 26th or 27th then we’ll try to be there.
 
Yes we all know about the weather being a little sketchy this time of year with the mountain passes involved. Haven't set up a date for a meet but I guess we will as the trip gets closer. Always fun to put a face to the name and friends are made.
 
Really hope my weather cooperates and no snow!!!!!

Hoping we can get a meet up planned. Would be nice to meet some other guys from this site!!

Does anyone have any specific plans while in Laughlin? I normally don’t hang out in town all day and night during a bike event, and look for good roads in the area that will take a few hours to check out. Does anyone have suggestions for that area?
 
Oatman. AZ is a short ride to a really cool ghost town where the burros have run of the place!!
 
We haven't finalized our plans just yet but we will do the Oatman to Kingman run one day and and catch some route 66 riding then maybe lake Havasu another day but open for suggestions. Again we will be in Laughlin the 26th thru the 28th headed home on the 29th

TomA, maybe we’ll meetup somewhere.
 
Looking forward to meeting up with some of you guys!!!!

I’m up for anything!!! I’ll just be following Tom the whole time!!!!
