Exahust sheild guy was not home at the time he picked to meet and u heard from the luggage rack guy I won't get up there till the end of the week depending on the weather. I'm off work after tues.

Update about my CD tail light kit. I received a new tail light assembly from Custom Dynamics. Good service all the way. Went to install the new tail light kit tonight. I have the new tail light attached to my fender now and looks o.k.. New problem.......... The wiring harness on the tail light is only about 10"-11" SHORT of where it is suppose to end up. This from a kit designed FOR my bike. Who the hell are these guys????? I have the wiring routed where they say to route it and I cannot come up with any more slack. I'm gonna bring some wire home tomorrow, solder in what I need, shrink tube it, finish the project and never give these jokers another red cent of mine. I'm half a**ed tempted to just buy a new rear fender and s**t can the whole works, but, do not have $500 lying around. Unbelievable.
Wow... something just doesn't seem right. I know you are competent enough to do the job, but I would call them back once again with a reason WHY there wiring is too short if it's made for the SG's.... it can't hurt... only help... maybe....
Hey Spazz. It can't help me anymore. The tail light is stuck on. Their tape is good. REAL good. Had bugger of a time removing it before. Do not want to do that again. Gonna fix this myself and just inform others to keep an eye out. I told them before their template was off. I was told they would inform their engineers. So, in the new kit they sent was the same old template. I appreciate the ideas here. The wife's ears are bleeding from my bi***in. Thought I'd vent here one more time and throw out there what's happened.
This is why I dread buying aftermarket parts for anything. I once bought exhaust for the truck 5" stainless the bends where wrong and the lengths was off and the vendor would not let me return it. Took me 3 days to get the pipes cut and installed. (Air grinders suck with my compressor)

I am looking at the CD turn signals as a winter project, I plan on the smoke for the front but is smoke bright enough on the rear or would I want to go with red? To get to my house I have to sit on the highway to turn left..I am always watching the mirrors waiting for some idiot to not see me there..
Custom Dynamics will tell you that to get the full effect, brightness of the color, you should choose the same color lens.
