I wear a CARBONATOR, carbon fiber DOT 1/2 helmet. Lightweight, fits great.

Winter time or rain, SHOEI full face.

The shield and pinlock insert are both clear. I also wear sunglasses instead of a tinted shield but mine are RX and polarized.

I think the shield on the Q is also polarized so it interfered with my polarized sunglasses.

I wear the same brain bucket I've had since 1989. I bought it at Miller's in Daytona for $20 and put a 25 cent DOT sticker on it and painted over the sticker with clear nail polish. Stickers have come and gone, but a few are original since 1989.

I'm partial to the Vega real carbon fiber half helmets however- I never leave out on a multi day trip w/o my trusty HJC 3/4 lid just in case I hit a bad t-storm!

Have a carbon fiber half on the way. Use a half I bought to get my bike home dealership and a HJC modular for the nasty weather.

Seems to work pretty good unless you for get the modular at home lol
