Man I can't get a break with vendors lately. Check out the new Dual Tour that arrived yesterday. Looks like someone's fingers had glue on them. Now Corbin wants me to return a brand-new seat for them to "repair"...

That. Is. nice.

For the amount of money they cost, no excuse for the glue on the seat tho

I want a Corbin but man they're expensive

That is a shame for a new one to arrive that way. Post a whole pic when you get a chance. Would like to see it on the bike. Looks nice otherwise.

Yeah it really is disappointing. Now it's going to be a return & repair scenario, which will probably be a lengthy process. Here's the whole bike with the seat as requested, sure wish it could stay on there!

Open a dispute with the credit card and provide them with pictures. That might speed up the process.

Believe me I'm thinking about doing just that. I've sent Corbin an email stating that I really would like them to simply replace the saddle outright, since I didn't just spend $900 just to have a "repaired" seat. Let's see if they play ball :(

Nice seat. Sucks about glue. Someone should've caught that before sending. No excuses. Is the Corbin backrest for that seat mounted on the stock hardware?

Where did your seat get shipped from? If it's Ormond Beach warehouse, I'm about 5 miles away.

The backrest is attached to the H-D Detachables short sissy bar. Corbin said it wouldn't fit when combined with the Dual Tour, but I took a chance and got lucky. I think it's perfect.

I believe this came from Hollister, since it was custom.

That looks nice! Its a shame you are having a bad experience. Love how it looks though.

Have heard horror stories about their service. Had a friend order a custom seat and it was over a year before he got it resolved. Had another order the driver back rest and it never showed up and they kept telling him it would be shipped.

Just a thought.........if you are only 5 miles from their FL facility maybe you should just take it there and see if they can help?? I find most vendors will take a much keener interest if the interaction is F2F.......worst case is you may have an internal advocate working for you.............they are probably only going to use a glue remover....no way in hell that company would recover it....no way!!

PS....these comments from someone who has not had anything but a Corbin under my buns for the past 20 years and 4 bikes........Just Sayin'

So I got on the horn with Corbim today, and am happy enough with their response. They sent me this email, and I can live with this:

"Sorry that there was a defect on the leather upon receiving the package. We will warranty the leather for up to a years time no ?'s asked

So if you would like to finish the riding season with the seat, when the season is up we will pay for shipping via a fed ex call tag pick up

From there if you need any alterations to be done, we can perform those request while recovering the seat at no charge"

They also sent me an RMA for it, so it looks like all is well.
