Lower fairing or saddlebag speakers?

I am thinking about adding one or the other for easier listening on the highway where I spend a majority of my time riding. I'm gonna stick with Rockford Fosgate most likely and my current amp can handle 2 more speakers. Just looking for people with experience with systems.

I feel like the lower fairing speaker location will help more with directing the sound towards me.

Since I have 6 speakers.... I can tell you this. .. go with lowers. I did lids first, then lowers. Lids lose sound for the rider after 20-25mph... lowers are right in your zone.

At a slow ride or sitting... lids are awesome... full rich sound. I still would do lids, but after lowers.... hind sight is 20/20

Granted... I have a level IV system from Soundz and it's not cheap by any means... but you will be happier with lowers over lids just for the gains to you as a rider.

Thanks. I got the Rockford fosgate system with the bike because it was already installed on the bike. Since the amp is 4 channel I'll do speakers in lowers once I get the money for the speaker pods and speakers lol
