Lower fairing speakers

Hey all, looking at putting some lower fairings from hogworkz. Just wondering if anyone could tell me how speakers wire in on a stop 2015.

Been googling and only way I seen is if you have a amp. Can I install set of speakers without a amp in lower fairings? I don't plan on upgrading audio till next winter.

Waterboy- Spazz seems to be our "audio expert" here, he (And others) can shed some light on your questions.

Hey WaterBoy,

You really should add an amp to add lowers speakers. The Headunit does not support just adding extra speakers very well. It's already under-powered and wiring in another set of speakers in series will just dilute the sound you already have. Wiring another set in in parallel will lower your ohms to 1 ohm and eventually burn up the headunit amp.

Karl, you have an amp and speakers for the lower fairing that are compatible with the BOOM head unit . I like the OEM speakers i have and just need to add lower speakers that will plug and play. Thanks.
