Does anyone know any tips, tricks or mods to lower the fairing mirrors on a Street Glide.

I have a 2014 SGS and I just had 12" LA Chopper Twin Peaks installed, and the fairing mirrors are slightly blocked.

I know i'm not the first to get these and wanted to canvass the group for ideas.

Do not desire to put stem mirrors on BTW.

Thanks!

I have the same bars the only thing I can tell you is I just look under my arm . You could rock old school and put them on the bars facing down so they are still hidden

How tall are you ?
I was just looking at the same bars and want to keep stock mirrors on my 14 SGS.
If looking under my arms works that would be fine with me.

flatlander - I'm 5'8. They mirrors still function, just requires some additional head movement in looking under the arms. In time, I'm sure it will become second nature, but I'm also looking to see if anyone has any ideas on lowering them - an inch or two.

Overall great bars. I got them in black and a friend got his in chrome.

Don't know of any extender/stems for your request. Sorry

someone on the SG facebook page just drilled another hole about an inch lower. just low enough so the previous hole is still covered.
