So I've got some parts coming and I was thinking it would be nice having the bike upright for the work.
Any advise or recommendations on a decent jack or front wheel chock........or an alternative.

I actually bought the HF wheel chock for my garage floor just for those occasions... $49 . Now... if you don't mount it to the floor you will NEVER drive up into it. that is the only drawback to the HF chock...

If I don't mount it... I just jack up the sled and place the wheel chock in place and set it into the chock and remove the jack. 3/8" Flush mount anchors work great and no trip hazards when you remove the chock.

I have both. I use the condor pit stop wheel chock more then the jack.

I miss my Handy table lift.

I have a Condor chock and a JS lift. I can drive onto the chock without it being mounted down. That's how I store my bike all winter and change oil. The lift is cats butt for doing any other work. Get both. They each have a purpose.

Thanks Guys,
I picked up a condor on ebay last night for $195 shipped. Figured I get the most use out of that. Still thinking I'd like a jack and that JS looks good but at around $400 ouch!
Was hoping around $250 would get me something decent. It might take me a little while to talk myself into that JS.
Thanks again

Is that because you are a member of their hog chapter?

Nope. National only. I use the HOG discount whenever I buy something if there are no other sales going on. They sponsor a local chapter, but I don't belong.

Wait one minute there's a HOG discount and you can use it on nonHD items? Well Sob wonder how much money I could have saved

I had cheaper jacks, didnt like how flimsy it was, see a J&S jack at a show and bought it on the spot, Yes it was pricey, so was the bike. All it would take is one time falling off and this jack would pay for itself.

I have had a J&S for over a yr and i would buy another in a heart beat.

Wanted to thank everyone in this post. I ordered the J&S jack after reading this. All I can say is hell yeah! Less than 5 minutes after opening box the bike was in the air!

Hey Spazz......I bought that one too and agree no driving onto it without securing it.......Do you think it might stay in place without drilling holes if I added some heavy duty rubber feet to it??

Nope... need flush mount anchors in the floor.... makes it easily removable

Like the red hat kind??.............I guess if they are flush mount I could live with it.......sure hate to mark up my garage/Man Cave.....I could give a crap about the regular garage :D

Yeah... redheads... 3/8" is all you need

Yeah....I got a whole box of those at home, bought them for another project that never came together so I'll use those.....do I need more than 2 or will I need 4??

Two will work at the rear... 4 is better when the wheel is hung up in the chock
