Mount your own tires ?? Difference between 2016 and 2018

I mount my own tires. I just took my well worn rear tire from my 2018 SGS. I pulled a new tire off my shelf, which I had purchased for my 2016 SGS, only to find that the 2016 was a 16" wheel and for 2018 they went to an 18" rear tire. Just a heads up so people do not do what I did and have 2 new tires that are the wrong size waiting to be installed. :(

Are you using a machine to mount your tires or do you do it by hand? I did my last bike tires by hand but I also didn't have low profile tires.

Also what do you balance with? I used Ride-on sealant/balancing compound last set and was very happy with the wear and ride of my tires.

I have been pretty impressed with the Ride-on as well. Don't do much balancing anymore. Just the fact that it's a sealant also makes it worth the price.
