Mounting fairing speaker crossovers and relocating GPS antenna

No... you can mount the speakers internally as you should anyway for clearance.... Focals need to be internal.....

Spazz, I have been watching all of your videos, great info by the way. I am getting ready to install Focal 165's and I see you installed them internally is that because of a clearance issue once the pods are installed back on the bike. I have the boom stage I upgrade now and I did receive some where that if you have those lids there was no need to install the speakers internally, can you explain it a little further please?

When I bought my system...Soundzcustomz never gave an option for internal or external on Focal 165KRC's... internal only... I believe there would be clearance issues with how thick the baskets and woofer cones are.

Rear lid speakers are mounted externally but you must remove the majority of the lid cage for clearance... no way they would fit

Spazz, I am trying to install my lid speakers in the rear now and the Focal's holes don't line up, how did you mount your speakers in the lids? Thanks!

You have to elongate the holes slightly... also get some 3/4" wide x 1/2" thick foam weather stripping ( for doors and windows) split it down the middle and use one half on each speaker basket with seam at bottom of speaker. When you install them snug up about 50% of weather stripping and that's it. It will keep water out and not too tight to deform the speaker baskets
