I installed a boom audio music and com kit on my 2016 street glide special, and mounted it so it comes out of my dash. I have since bought a sena freewire Bluetooth unit. I don't want to have wires running all over the outside of my bike, and saw people have run the cables into their bags. Since I already have a hole in my dash I was wondering if splicing another unit into the one already installed and running it to my bag would be doable. Would this even work? Would I run the risk of doing any damage to the electrical system/radio?

Another option is to get a 3.5 mm jack and put that into the hole already in my dash. Does anyone make something that would connect to the harley radio like that?

Since I already have the hole in my dash I would like to be able to fill it with someone rather then buying a whole set of new dash covers.

does the wire coming out of the dash have a 3.5mm on it? mount it or pull it out and plug hole with a stainless screw, painted gloss black.
