So, is it proper for us Street Gliders to listen to music such as "Do The Hustle" https://youtu.be/3ZyT6QW5Pdo while riding? I found myself listening to it, singing and just enjoying the ride last night. LOL

Have you all ever listened to anything on your Glide you were not sure others would think "approve" of? LOL

David

IF you want to get EVERYBODY in the mood that can hear your music.... ROCK THIS!!!! I had an 80 year old woman jamming in the middle of the street!!! LOL!!

LMAO that song is on my I-Pod and yes it gets a few head nods / smiles, but I try not to crank it up while stopped at a traffic light unless I'm next to someone blaring crap music or on their cell phones.

I think your ok unless your listening to Yani! I know I'm off topic a bit but I picture a large intimidating biker sitting at a stop light singing along to the sound of music! Lmao!

I crank it up all the time~~ LOVE IT!!! that and LowRider by War.... lots of folk get into the "GROOVE".... it's so funny!

I can tell you if I'm out on the Bike my Music is CRANKED UP !!!!!!!!!!! and I DON'T turn it down at red light's or stop Sign's

LOVE that song Hulkss!!! Wife won't let me listen to that song or many others like that when she is on the bike with me cause it causes excess speed she says!!! When we were out on our 250 mile ride today Metallica "Shortest Straw" came on and i had to play nice to keep listening to it!!!

I usually just play whatever the hell I want... Ranging anywhere from Metallica to Eminem to Knife Party...

I ride solo, so I don't have to worry what my wife thinks of the tunes while riding.

Sent from my phone.

Embarrassingly.... yes, there are some songs that I play only when kicked back and away from the world. I have everything from Bette Midler (The Rose), to Tupac (California), and everything in between, including some Chopin and Bach classical music (yes BTO too). During the Holidays I was tooling around blasting Christmas music. One night when my wife got home from work, I had the bike acc. turned on and when she opened her car door, I hit play on my bluetooth from the inside the house so One Direction magically started to play. She thought it was pretty cool- still hates the bike with a passion though. The other day I rode up through some cars at a stoplight- California- 'lane sharing', and I was pumping some George Clinton/Parliament- got some heads bobbing- and some scorned looks. Like I care. Can't wait to get my new JBLs in.

BTW- we all sing when we’re jamming down the road- right???

huh...

I rarely get any looks while jammin some tunes in traffic... I'll bast everything from Pantera to Florida Georgia Line...

Must be that pink helmet... everyone must just assume I'm a loon and is afraid to say anything or give me "a look"... :p

I guess I'm the only sick freaking jarhead that has the movie full metal jacket boot camp cadence scenes on my tunes list ?
An yes I will repeat back to it just like I am back at MCRD SD.
lol
You want to get some looks give it a try.

Get on your bad motor scooter and ride

I am researching my options now. If you don't mind me asking what JBL set up are you thinking? What speakers and or amp?
