Not exactly sure what this beast has but I know for sure it has Jim's motor with Screaming Eagle heads. I'm still trying to get what engine parts were put in at the dealer. If you have any input as far as what is aftermarket that would be awesome... I am new to the Harley Davidson world I come from riding an Enduro and Triump street triple.

Can't help with any information but that is a sweet looking ride you have there.

So I went to the dealer and ask for the aftermarket parts that were installed, to my surprise the guy spent $17,000 on aftermarket parts and pieces before he even road the bike home... It has a Jims 120motor, Cobra Clutch, Fat 5 Trans. I still don't know what cam or exhaust I have. :( If you are interested I can post the print out I was given its like 6 pages....

I believe you are correct with the Thunder Header exhaust but are there any identifying markings on the Thunder header exhaust system? I figured I'd ask the question before I take the wrap off to further my investigation...

that is def. a thunder header, probably wrapped for a reason. they don't come with heat shields. you can still get heat shields over the wrap.

I ran into this article on heat wrapping exhaust pipes. Gives a good explanation of why your pipe is wrapped and why you might want to remove the wrap

Wow, what a great article. I believe the bike was tuned with the wrap so I don't think that it's running lean. Also the bike has 22,000 miles and the wrap was put on with 6 miles. The one thing that has me concerned about the wrap is the cracking of the headers as of now I don't think that's a problem. Thanks for the information. 😀
