need more bass

anybody have any suggestions on getting better bass response from a 2012 street. ive tried everything, upgraded to rockford 6.5s in the fairing rockford 6.5 in the lowers and rockford pbr 300.2. it is better but still not happy with the bass.

What's your limiting factor? Money? Storage space? Lots of guys run Memphis full range 8" in their bags... another option is 6" subs ... another option is the excellon 10" kit by American Hard Bag... you have choices

i would like to keep my bags open but i am open to speaker lids but ive heard different opinions on them, people say the driver cant hear them once up to cruising speed.

I heard a bar hop Bagger with the above mentioned equipment. Bags stuffed full of equipment and it sounded good or to quote a SG forum member or a member from another forum "sounded like a low rider at a drive in on cruise night" LOL!
Sure did eat up the bag space though!

Yeah.. they do...

But there are space-saving 6" subs that will hit 30hz no problem with minimal space loss

I have lids... 600 watts and I love my system... I have a lot more bass, but not as much as you would think from lids with 5x7's... they are not as dynamic as one would think... but remember this... once you are moving... the sound from the lids become non-existent...
