Who has rode Needles highway off of 16 near Rushmore? Gonna be there in July. How is it for crowds? Hows the roadway?

Been in the Hills many times during Sturgis and Otherwise. Needles is a major attraction so the roadway is always busy. I hate the big motor home jobs plugging up the road but something for everyone. If your on a scooter you have to really pay attention as its a curvy extravaganza and I have seen several baggers high side into the woods. Not pretty. It always seems to be busy so just pick your slot and enjoy the scenery as you ride. I recommend it!
