2nd Harley - previous V-rod (original 2002 model with lots of mods)

2014 Ducati Streetfighter was previous commuter/fun bike

These forums are always dangerous on the wallet, but usually FULL of great info.

2015 Street Glide Special in Amber Whiskey. Planned mod list: Vance and Hines twin slash rounds (had on V-Rod as well - don't like too loud), FP3, headers later?, JW Speaker headlight, some type of better brakelight LEDs, Hogtunes or equiv speakers and amp upgrade, 6.5" windscreen. That should get me started ;-)

Weakest link of this bike (or any Harley) is the rear suspension (well front too). They finally have the brakes acceptable, power adequate, electronics on par. Always loved Ohlins and will investigate.

The Fp3 is awesome check out custom dynamics led inserts. They are super bright, and get their tri-bar light. turns the 3 bar light at the bottom of fender into brake light also. don't have it yet but heard its much brighter than the one harley has. Enjoy your ride. also get some bots for your bags.

Welcome to the fun. If your looking for stereo upgrade do it once and go Soundz Customz or J&M is a sponsor here also. There has been a couple guys on here that went the cost savings route and then spent a lot more doing it right later. I would do the V&H power duals as mine sounds good and it's not too loud and she runs great.

Hogtunes 6x9" speaker lids and J&M 6.65" fronts. Amp.? My Harley set up is kinda' weak. But the paint maches:p Maybe later, I'll upgrade as stated.

Thanks guys. Have the Custom Dynamics LEDs and Daymaker/Speaker on order. Safety first, then comfort, then performance, then looks. At least, that is the priorities I'm telling myself ...

Haven't seen much on here regarding suspension upgrades. Must be long term Harley guys :)

Hi velopod,
I agree, safety first! On the rear I have Custom Dynamics run/turn/brake 1157 LED replacements, run/brake Led Tri-bar, and run/brake LED Harley auxiliary light (above the light bar). Folks I have ridden with say it's a nice lighting package. Since these pictures I have installed smoked lenses front and back.
