Hey guys and any gals,

Just traded my 2006 Road King on a 2015 Street Glide recently, and found this forum. I am from West Central Florida,
and have been riding for many years. This is my second Harley, and am enjoying it a lot. I enjoyed the Road King, but
the new SG is a nice upgrade for me, and I am impressed with the positive changes in the ride and handling. I have
already changed the windshield, added bag guards, changed all of the turn signals and rear fender light to LED's. Put some
Screaming Eagle Street Cannons on the stock headpipes. They sound about the same as stock at idle, but come to life
when the throttle is opened. I am very happy with them after the Rhinehart true duals on the RK. They were so loud that
I got a bad headache after a half hour of riding, and no one wanted to be behind me for long.

Anyway, looking forward to all of the good people and knowledge on this site.

Thanks,
Don

I made the transition from RK to SGS and While I too loved riding the "King" the SG is just so much more refined, responsive and ride-able......I always liked the 3 R's :D

Welcome to the party.....the guys here have really helped me and I know they will do the same for you.

Welcome to the fun sounds like your on the right track to make it yours.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Hope to get out for a ride today before the afternoon/evening thunderstorms come rolling this way. UPS brought my Mustang backrest, and I got that put on yesterday. I had one on the RK, and found that I missed it on the new bike.

Hey Don, welcome from rural Georgia. I spent many years in St. Pete and Clearwater. To tell my age I graduated from Dixie Hollins High School in 1965 (St. Pete) In 1961 and 1962 I bet I put a million miles on a Cushman Super Eagle riding St. Pete and Clearwater. Lots of traffic there now. Ride safe and enjoy your SG.
