I love my 2024 Street Glide, but have never liked the look of the Adventure-bike style saddlebags... So I just purchased 4" stretched bags from TCMT. Gotta, say I'm quite impressed with the quality of the bags! Now I just need to have them painted and color-matched. My question is that the bags came two small polished metal pieces (see photo below - Utility knife is just for size reference). I contacted the place I bought the bags, but have not yet heard back. Does anyone know where they go and/or what they are for?
Thanks! in advance.

Maybe the skid plates for the bottom of bags. seeing the extended bags are lower?

That would make sense, but they are cut for something specific and don’t line up anywhere along the bottoms of the bags.
