finally got my flash done and verified its correct (2 amp on 8 speaker on per Peter's instructions) and installed the new system. It sounds awesome, crisp clear music. I haven't had a chance to ride yet but so far its one of the best upgrades I've done.
 
Thanks again everyone especially Spazz! I just got back from my local HD dealer got the system flashed to 2 amps on 8 speakers. It sounds amazing, my neighbor came out from down the street and said they could hear it loud and clear inside there house! All the way up no distortion.
 
I just got all my stuff together for a weekend install.

Rockford Punch 300x2 amp with T1675 speakers.
I'm only doing a front fender install.
The dealer also supplied me with the Rockford installation kit which I have just found wont work on my 2015 Street Glide Special so that's going back tomorrow for refund.
Will the same flash be needed for mine?
Reason is that there is an installation update from RF that says 1 am 2 speakers is right.
Now confused!

You must contact RF and see what they recommend. Each company/ dealer has their own set of requirements. HD doesn't make it easy....

Hey Bulldog182 I am ordering the Biketronics speaker package for my 2016 Streetglide. I am getting the 7.1pros with the 4 channel amp to run my uppers fairing and lowers. Also getting the BT447 6.5 speakers for my lowers. How is your system handling? Is it loud enough? How high is your volume while riding 80 miles an hour? And lastly would you recommend the system?

I was looking at getting a package from Soundz Customz, However when talking with my dealer he told me I couldn't do it on my 15 FLHXS stock radio/gps head unit. Basically he said anything aftermarket won't work, from what I'm reading here it sounds like he is just one of the "difficult" dealers. Any suggestions for any dealer near Tampa Florida, where a dealer might not be so "difficult" or maybe its just a knowledge thing. anyway. I want to drop in a new 600.4 amp new fairing speakers and two lid speakers, thats all I am looking to do.

Liar liar pants on fire.... he doesn't want your business.

I have done 7 installs on 14/17 streetglides and roadglides with systems from Peter at Soundz.... flash for his systems is straight forward and 5-10 minutes tops.

Peter is in FL right now... might want to hit em up!

I was just at Biketoberfest in Daytona last week and had Soundz install a system on my new 2016 CVO Limited. Kdawg suggested the Level V up front and Level I in the rear (can't hear the rear at highway speed anyway)for my personal needs. Wow what a system!!! Peter is the MAN along with his crew. I highly recommend these guys!!!

Did you have your system flashed before you went? or was Peter able to do it?
 
Best to have it flashed beforehand, but I believe Peter and his crew have the ability to flash on site
