New Boom! Box update Version: 1.22.0.2

There's a new upgrade for the infotainment system, version Version: 1.22.0.2, the first update in over a year. I've installed it, no obvious issues (or improvements)

I've noticed one problem with the navigation software. If a route is active and the unit is powered off, for example to refuel, the route stays active when it's powered on again but the voice prompts don't work.

Anyone else have this problem? Me and the wife went on a 3 day trip, hers did this, but worked after you shut it off. Mine will not talk at all. Been over 700 mi and still no sound for prompts

I called the MoCo two weeks ago after being on hold for 25 minutes and I talked to Alex (customer service rep). I told him I was going on a trip and could not save any destinations in the navigation. He put me on hold again and when he got back on the phone informed me that this is a known issue with the software and they are working on a fix. I said I needed to go back to the previous version because I was going on vacation and he said it is not HD's policy to revert to previous software and they do not recommend it. He told me to search HD Forums (this site) because they know there are people here that are making previous software versions available to download, but officially they do not recommend it. I was able to find the software here pretty easily. So apparently from what Alex told me the MoCo knows what's going on in these forums. So I would not upgrade to the current version 1.22.0.2 if you want to use the navigation.

I have the same issue, cannot store locations as the system says it does not recognise the file format of a file it has internally generated.
Found the previous issue of software but it did not improve the situation. My dealer is talking to HD, I am not holding my breath.

hey SMULLY when you say 'previous version' which version have you sourced?

needs to be the Euro/UK version and 1.22.0.1 which is date stamped Oct 2017

filename: swdl_boombox_6.5GT_HDI.1.22.0.1.zip

1.22.0.2 broke my Boom save function (even though thats the latest on the UK software updates site),

dealer reloaded 1.22.0.2 blaming the dodgy internet versions....didn't fix. couldn't help with the downgrade

another member on here provided me with the latest update prior to 1.22.0.2 (I can hook you up if you are stuck)

1.22.0.1 fixed it for me! But had to find the UK version (not the one thats readably available)
