Hello everyone!

Names Mike if you couldn't tell, and also from South Western CT.

Recently picked up a new 16 SGS on June 24 and got engaged on June 25 (priorities :p)

So far we've put 1600 miles on her, loving every mile. Look forward to soaking up some knowledge from everyone and hopefully meeting up for a cruise or bike night. Would love to hear some other setups and pick peoples brains!

Ride Safe!

Here's the bike and the babe!

Hey Mike congrats !!!!!

Appreciate the warm welcome everyone, excited to find a SG only forum as I can't decide what to do with this thing. Well...besides ride the heck out of it.

My first challenge is what pipes, air cleaner and fuel management to go to. I've always been a loud and proud guy, I love the sound of the bikes that roar down the road WOT and when they let off the throttle you get that nice crackle (I have no idea how to describe it). But then again, I have no idea what pipes or mods have been done. I don't want to sacrifice performance, me and the lady are always riding and we need the power. I'm a hefty 6'2 300lber (former offensive lineman). So we need the giddy up and go, lol

Congrats Mike, on both! Good luck with your search too. You'll get good info here. For your exhaust question, you'll get several opinions of course. I'm a V/H fan, so I went with V/H power duals, de-cat, twin slash slip-ons, and a Ness AC. Add a V/H FP3 and you're good to go. But hey, that's just me.

Ride on Brother!

So I stopped by the local cruise night here in town and the lady handed me an entry form for the bikes competition. I mean there was only 10 bikes since it's mainly a car show. But hey the old stock SGS squeezed out a win! Lol, my fiancé was not
Impressed when I said time to order parts to actually make it nice. Lol
