Hello All,
Just picked up my first Street Glide Special last week at my HD dealer and figured I'd better check out a SG forum. I grew up with bikes (both Jap and American) and bought a new 2015 Heritage Softail last year. Great bike, just not the right fit for me. I rented a 2015 SGS over the July 4th holiday last year and knew I needed to make the switch. Struck a deal with Stutsman HD in Jamestown, ND (great shop, BTW) to trade the Softail for the SGS.
I had them install the following prior to pick up:
Daymaker headlight
Smoked LED signals, front and back with black brackets
4 point docking system
Hammock seat (wife loves it) with backrest
Passenger footboards
XM Satellite radio module
Windsplitter medium screen
HD highway pegs
I'm waiting on the following:
V&H FP3
Arlen Ness Big Sucker
V&H Power Duals
V&H 450 Destroyer
HD Shorty antenna
Heated HD hand grips (friend took them off a '14 limited)
And I'm shopping for a bit taller handle bars (12" maybe) but haven't made the jump yet.
Looking forward to poking around the forum and making connections.
And here was the trade-in for nostalgic sake...
