I have 4,000 miles on the 2014 STREET glide. Traded in a 2010 Ultra Glide but kept my 2000 Wide Glide with 77,000 miles on it.
Bought the Ultra cause wife said the Wide Glide's ride was too rough for her back. We did OK on the Ultra but it was too much of a tank to maneuver at low speeds. Took it over bear tooth pass and the Black Hills. Was OK but a little much.
Test drove a SGS at slow speeds around a parking lot and knew it was alot better than the big one. Need to keep a road sofa to keep the wife happy so got the SG.
I put the dealer provided bolt on rear shock lowering kit from the Ultra on the SG and also the Rush slip on mufflers. Just bought and installed the fork mounted wind deflectors.
When I ride solo I take the Wide Glide and the two of us go on the Street Glide.
