Anyone running the new H-D audio by Rockford Fosgate yet?? Curious about the quality and if anyone has attempted to mount the amp in the fairing instead of the left saddlebag as the install instructions say to do.

I've heard it and truthfully was not impressed. It does take up additional saddle bag space for amp. My dealer said upgrading your current audio to this was an additional $900-$1000 dollars just in labor PLUS PARTS!

I put the RF stage 2 on. Modified the mounting bracket and put it in the fairing (didn't want to put holes in my saddlebag). Had to solder extensions to the power leads to reach the battery so it wouldn't be pulling on the wire harness making a right turn.

Great post some photos. Would like to know what you think about the Fosgate upgrade too!
