Just traded my beloved 02 Deuce for a 14 Street Glide after 13 and a half years. Needed to get my butt on something more comfortable. Looking forward to sharing stories and information with you.

Welcome to the forum from ks. You've got a great bike and there's a lot of good info to be had here.

Lots of info on this forum. With that said there is lots of searching as well. I'm looking for some tips/tricks about the operation of the 4.3 Boom box. Fingers with gloves don't work the controls very well.

Anybody point me in the right direction? TIA, Dennis

Hi Dennis, welcome and congratulations on your 14 Glide.
Operation of the 4.3 enfotainment system is pretty straight forward but clumsy compared to the audio systems in most late model vehicles. Taking time to read the accompanying sound system manual and then sitting on the parked bike and pissing around as you read about the features goes along way toward understanding its operation. The rest comes naturally as you ride and put on a few miles.

Enjoy,
Blues

Thanks, unfortunately I didn't get the manuals with the bike (I know, I'll get one) but the radio manual is on line so I've been reading about it there. I should haul this lap top out to the garage but sometimes someone reads these queries and takes the time to point out the info needed. Like the spark plug wire issue I found earlier today. Sure enough, my spark plug wire was roughed up by the contact. A little wire loom and I'm good to go.

You also may want to check and see if all the recalls have been done. Clutch, Brake line, saddlebag clips. If they were done right a dealer can find out using your VIN number in their system.

Thanks, I will do that.
