Hello everyone and thanks ahead of time for all the useful information I'm gonna receive on this forum.
I have rode motorcycles for 20 years and I love to be in the wind!! I have always ridden Crotch Rockets and always thought I would continue to ride them because I never wanted an old man Bagger bike because I was to cool for that!!! (Lol). A couple of months back I was telling my wife how I wish they made a more comfortable Rocket that we could take a long trip on because it got to where I would get on it and ride for about 30 minutes and have to get off because I was miserable and my arms and back hurt. Well my wife reminded me that I was gonna be turning 38 this year and that I was not exactly a young man anymore and that it was time to slow down!! So I put my beloved Yamaha R1 up for sale and the next day it was gone.
A few weeks later I was dying to ride and my best friend of 29 years pulls up at my house on his "HOG SOUNDING LIKE A FREAKING THUNDERSTORM" and he says this is what you need!! So I started looking and that's when I fell in love with the so called "OLD MAN BAGGER"!!! I could not believe how well it rode and better yet it was comfortable for me and my wife!! I ended up with a 2011 STREET GLIDE VIVID BLACK WITH 1,700 miles for an unbelievable price!!
I have had it for a month or so and I just put 12" Yaffe bars on it last week and love them!! This winter I'm gonna do some major fabricating on it and make it one of the Baddest Baggers around!! So I'm gonna have a bunch of questions about different things and I hope that I can find some of the answers to my questions and I will be more than glad to help anyone out that I can at anytime!!
