Well I finally did it. I traded in my 08 Street Glide, (and an 09 Street Triple) for a new 2017 Street Glide. I also have a '12 Bonnie and '15 Yamaha XT250. I've been riding for over 40 years and have had several great bikes. I was raise around Harley's all my life. I use to ride with my father on his gas tank when I was in dippers. So far I'm loving this bike and ever time I ride it, it gets more and more comfortable. I was so used to the '08 that I was hesitant on trading it in, ever. I just need to get used to this clutch lever. Went from one extreme to another with the '08 being right off of the grip to going to the very end of travel. The front tire is a little quicker also. I getting use to slow maneuvers again. Just wanted to say Hi everyone. Looking forward to the community.

Thinks guys. I hope to get every tip I can to improve my ride. The first mode I'd like to make is a luggage rack. I all ready have a sissy bar with the bracket to attach the luggage rack but was wondering which to get.

You can spend some time looking on eBay they have a ton of different style luggage racks. I have a very simple one with an upturned edge to help the slide from acceleration.

Welcome from Texas Johnny. Kentucky is on my next long ride trip itinerary. Beautiful country you got there.

Welcome from another Kentuckian! Grew up in Leitchfield and spent lots of time riding dirt bikes around your area. Still get down there about 3-4 times a year. Enjoy!
