No Cage Audio’s 2014+ Streetglide faring only Kit.
No Cage has put together a new amp and speaker kit for those of you interested in a dramatic upgrade in the sound system on your 2014 and newer Streetglide’s. This system is completely plug and play with no cutting of any Factory wires.
This system is designed around the New Hawg Wired NX652-80 6.5” 2 ohm Component speakers which have the tweeter bridge mounted and comes with 2 way passive crossovers. These new speakers sound amazing with some of the best bass available in a 6.5” speaker. We match these speakers with the Arc KS 125.2 BX Mini amp. This is one of the most dependable, cleanest amps ever designed for a motorcycle. The NX652-80 2 ohm speakers let you take advantage of all the power this amp puts out (125 Watts RMS x2 channels at 2 ohms).
We also make use of Arc’s HD Harness and 2014+ Wire Kit Retrofit. This makes install and hookup a snap with this plug and play wiring kit. No Line Levelers are required with this kit
We think this is $$$ for $$$ the best entry level Plug and Play 2014+ Streetglide system on the market.
Now for the down side, this system as configured is NOT expandable. The use of the 2 ohm speakers to get the most power from this amp will not let you add another set of 2 ohm or 4 ohm speakers.
To the guys looking to upgrade their faring only setup, this is not a big deal. For those of you that are wanting to add more speakers down the road, we have some different options.
