Non matching crash guards?

Anybody running chrome engine guards with black saddlebag guards? I'm contemplating the configuration to mask the saddlebag bars from a distance to emphasize the streamline look.

Not yet, but that's what I plan to do. When you think about it, part of the saddle bag frame tube is exposed, and that's black, so this would go along with that look.

Don't wait too long fellas. There are lots of guys who are kicking themselves for not making this mod a priority before it was too late. My SGS has been on the ground three times now. Twice I was able to lay it down gently and the third time it fell over in my garage while I was instslling the VPC. I was glad it didn't fall to the left that time because I would have been pinned for sure. Whew!!!

It's coming for sure. Plan is to upgrade the lights 1st and saddlebag guards second.

Well I finally convinced myself to get the bars and ordered them today. I went with chrome though. They should be here by the end of the week. I see some wrenching in the near future! Lol.

Non matching crash guards?

I have them on chromed. Dropped my bike twice already. Once riding slow, to park on the sidewalk. And once on a sloped road, no foot-ground contact. Was glad that I had the guards installed

The front and back guards are worth the money !

Run the same setup, black bag guards and chrome up front. (I'll post a pic later today) They're not as noticeable in black and doesn't spoil my visual image of the bike. Thinking of changing the front to black also.
