Not reading USB

Hey there street gliders! Has anyone had a issue with your info system not reading your thumb drive?? USB cable seems to be DOA.

Your cable could be damaged an easy way to check is plug in your smart phone and see if it plays/charges. Also check that:
> You used a properly formatted USB drive.
> You have your songs listed by name only, no number header in front.
> All songs are NOT in a folder but stored/listed separately at root level on the drive.
> The format is MP3.

It's also possible the USB cable has come loose on the back of the infotainment device.

Thanks for the feedback fellas!! I checked for connection problems,formatting is good and thumb works in other devices. I'll call dealer today, hopefully they can come up with a quick fix.
