These are the engine guards that come as standard equipment on the 2025 Street Glide Ultra but I added them to my 2024 Street Glide so that I could add the OEM factory lowers (also for sale!)), which, along with the addition of the Ultra’s air deflector wings (also for sale!), made a noticeable improvement to the amount of air coming up around the tank from under the fairing.
Purchased new from Barb's HD in South Jersey back in April. Part number 49000285, retails new for almost $200 plus tax, yours for $149 OTD.
This is NOT the chopped engine guard that comes standard with the '24+ Street/Road Glide, it's the one that comes with the '25 Street Glide Ultra and is the one that's needed if you want to install the HD OEM lowers. Owners of the '24+ Road Glide can use this as well but will need to purchase an additional bracket (Road Glide Fairing Support Bracket Kit P/N 47201045). Also, this engine guard is not compatible with Heavy Breather Air Cleaners.
