Oil temp gauge

Btw, I am here in Laughlin, rode in yesterday and on my way here I checked my oil temp using JESCustomAccents oil temp gauge and showing around 210-230 and UtraCool oil cooler did not function. LED light never came on or fans, I have been chatting with UltraCool on this matter and their customer service is great. They are ready to ship me whatever I need to get it working. They think the issue is the thermal switch, which they hardly had issues with but happened before. Fans are good as when I use the tester that included in the kit fans came on. So looks like they may send me LED light and thermal switch. I will know a bit later today or tomorrow.

JESCustomAccents oil temp gauge works very well, I can just lean over and see the gauge, once I leaned over and my helmet accidentally hit the kill switch at the traffic light.....LOL!

Wow, thanks I will check on it later on and use it during my trip in Laughlin this week and on my way home. I have been looking for a GPS that has this feature but they are around $600 and good thing I did not buy it.....I am stoked

2nd night....here......nothing was going on Wednesday, bikes are rolling in today but no where near what it used to be. Usually things get crazy on Friday so that'll be tomorrow...I expect more bikes rolling in and party all over the place.

Saw Juggs & OilBud vendors, in different row though...LOL! I asked UltraCool if they are going to be in Laughlin and found out they are not. Did not see the other vendor (can't think of the name at this moment) that competes with Juggs. A lot of clothing vendors, Kuryaken, CIRO, S&S, Mustang, to name a few, along with some small vendors with various gadgets.

Tomorrow weather is supposed to be great so we'll be doing some Poker rides and visit some outer areas like Needles (Pirate Cove), Lake Havasu, Oatman, etc.....should be fun....especially now that I know miles to empty feature is there......oh yea!!!!

Awesome to hear brother!! Sounds like a blast!! I got some friends that are from the Havasu area, it's beautiful out there!! Keep the shiny side up!!!!

Called UltraCool, spoke with a nice guy (Earl) and we went through everything and he determine the issue is thermal switch. He is shipping me a new one, should be in my mailbox or I will get it Monday or Tuesday. I saw Love Jugs and OilBud vendors there, Love Jugs tent had few guys installing on a bike but no sales person to chat with, that's on the first day, never went back to check other days.

I am back safe & sound, weather on Friday & Saturday was extremely nice. Did so much riding the past 4 days and over 800 miles. Used miles to empty and found my bike is running much better (with FP Turnout 2 to1) than when I had V&H 2 to 1 exhaust, I mean in power & gas mileage. My buddy rides Sportster and I am empty when he is on half tank, that's last year, now I am on 3/4 mark when he is showing half tank. I knew something was not right when I compare my bike with my other buddy that rides 2015 Road Glide Special and we ride exactly the same style, he is on 1/2 tank when mine is showing empty.

Update on UltraCool oil cooler fans: Did not get a chance to ride my bike until today since thermal switch was swapped out.

Temp today is around 96 degree, did some riding with few friends doing Poker run.....UltraCool light came on and fans kicked in.....and few spots while we were riding temp got a bit hot and blue light stayed on and fans were doing what they are supposed to.....so it's working as it should now. Oil temp stay below 220 now so I am very pleased.

I know it may make you feel better but the bike couldn't care less about a 10 deg drop in oil temp..
