We just picked up a 2004 electraglide that has 31000 miles on it. The problem I am having is that on the highway it feels loose. Not sloppy just loose. If i move the bars from left to right it really wobble easily it the front end at 50 plus mph where as if i do it on my 14 SG it snaps back to straight instantly and tight. I can also feel it follow/grab a grove in the highway. Now this only happens when when initiated otherwise its smooth and straight. Tire pressures are spot on. Could it be that I am just used to my 14' SG? Has anyone else ever experienced this? Hope this makes sense It is the best I can describe it.
Thank you all
Pete

Since it's the older.. frame, you will definitely feel the wobble. The swingarm and motor/frame flex opposite and cause the wobble. This was corrected in 2009 and newer. I recommend looking into the Bagger Brace...

There are other products on the market as well... Touring link...

Amazon sells these... FYI

Besides Spazz's good point, look at these just in case:
May also want to check the neck bearing adjustment.
Is the front tire cupped or over/under pressure?
Anything loose or not torque on the front end?

My 14 FLHXS will find every groove in the road and wobble a bit.

buckshot has a good point- My first inspection would be the neck bearings.
