Outrush R Whim and intercom

I have a street glide 2022 with whim, an Outrush R HD branded helmet and an Iphone. Can anyone please advise how to connect to the bike so that I can hear the commands from the boom! box and also communicate with other riders?

I ride a 2021 CVO Ultra Limited. Same setup, in order to communicate with other riders you need to download the Sena app and scan the QR code to connect easier. You can also connect by holding the center button until the helmets flash in comm mode when they both flash same color press center button they should connect.
I plug my I phone to usb connection and listen to music through there in order to listen through the bike sound. Do not connect your phone to bike via Bluetooth only usb. I only connect the helmet Bluetooth to my iPhone this way I can answer calls through the helmet as I ride.

Thank you for your answer. I only connect via Bluetooth.I tried a few times and now before I start the bike I have a connection to the bike, so I can listen to the navigation or music from the boom box. However, when I want to communicate with the other rider, I lose this connection and I only have a connection to this rider. When I start the bike, I lose the intercom and I have a connection to the bike again. I'm confused about this.
