Papabear--- details on your head unit?

I tried searching for the details, but I can't find them. I know you swapped the HU for a Kenwood single DIN..

How about sharing the details....

HU
interface harness
ETC...

Im sure others will be sure to like the info as would I... I can't say I will swap, but the thought is there and wold like to the details in case I ever get the urge to just do it.

Did you have any control issues or any 'hangups'

This is the kit I used.. Add the pac control module, add the radio of choice. All my handle bar controls work. The small monitor shows your oil pressure and ambient air.

The double won't work because the way the radio is recessed in the inner fairing. Over the winter I will modify a test inner fairing to accept a double din, with navi.

I will also post some pics when I get back home from this dreadful business trip.

I was thinking of going this route too. I saw a video on the small box and they never showed that it supported the outside air temp. I'm glad to hear that function is not lost. I actually like checking that.
