Hi, my name is Cody and I just joined the group today. I installed a 4 point docking system last night and my passenger back rest won't fit. I've looked at a similar thread so I will try some of the recommendations. I have a 2012 Street Glide.

The 14's and up had a shock flip problem. Put mine on yesterday once I had the front ears on the shocks I still had to wrestle to get the rears to slide into place. Had to pull the bars left and right to get them to seat.

Check to see if you right shock is installed upside down. Been a lot of these bikes shipped with the right shock upside down and the bar won't fit.

The other thing that can be done (I have heard) is to install the docking station but not tighten it up. Mount the back rest and then tighten up the docking station. I have only read about this so I have no personal experience if this works. My back rest mounts tough but I have not done this yet. Maybe someone with experience can add their two cents.

As Bronco and Tom said the right shock is upside down. Happened to me about a month ago. Take it to dealer. They did mine while I waited for free. Not sure how this gets out of the factory like that and then past the dealer.
