Okay...This may be a stupid question, and one that no one else has ever asked. But for us who always ride solo.....Is there such a thing as a passenger footboard blockoff plate?? There really isn't a reason to have footboards on the bike if I always ride solo. I think it would clean it up a bit and look good with a solo seat. If I ever decide to ride two up, I simply put the foot boards back on. Is there such a thing as a blockoff plate for passenger footboards?? Thanks

I don't know if there is a plate to mount (maybe kuryaken has it if it exists), but you could simply insert rubber plugs if you don't want to leave the holes bare.

I thought StreetGlides came with passenger foot pegs, not boards. At least my '09 and '15 did.
I ride solo mostly ..... but I use my passenger foot pegs all the time.
It's very comfortable to kick my feet back behind me and use the passenger pegs. It keeps my back straight and I can lean forward some to relieve the dreaded biker butt & biker slouch pains.
They fold up nicely when not in use.
Not a fan of boards, as they interfere with my legs/calves when I come to a stop sometimes.
If you have boards, try stock pegs. They're Awesome!

Black pegs might "hide" better and maybe clean up the look for you, too. But you could use them if needed... either by yourself or by a passenger.

I just leave mine on the bike. Maybe one day I'll get the wife on the back. It doesn't bother me that it's there even though I never use them.

Going to look into the plugs.. Not a fan of the rust starting to show in the adjustment locations

I only used one button head chrome bolt to avoid clutter.
The plates are made from 1/8 inch steel, but you could use aluminum.
I never had them powder coated....gloss black worked fine.

I noticed rust on mine when I lowered them. How can they have rust on them, and what should be applied to remove it ? Will look into the plugs too

I used a conical soft wire brush on a dremel to clean the minimal rust.. I'll probably treat the area then paint and plug
