I've been around and around multiple forums and have seen that there are a ton of you using these speakers as an upgrade with great success (which is why I also picked up a pair). My Question to those of you who have installed them... how the heck are you getting the clearance??? I've countersunk the screws so that is no longer an issue but I'm still getting contact between the surround and the speaker grills which have been changed out to the Boom grills. Are you all mounting them inside the pods? I have read that with other speakers, they sound much better outside the pod so I was hoping to not have to do that. Thanks in advance.
