Power Source Under Fairing

I need a 12v 1.5amp power source for my Garmin Zumo 396 GPS. It will be mounted on the handlebars so need to go under the fairing. I'm thinking of tapping the hot wire to headlight but would prefer a cleaner connection. I really don't want to have to pull the fuel tank to connect to battery. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry H-D, I'm not paying an additional $300 for your GPS when I have a great system.

I know on my 17 Street Glide Special under the fairing there is are empty "accessory" plugs to tap into, If you have your service manual for your particular Bike look at the schematic for that, or google is your friend for that.
Custom Dynamics makes an Accessory plug splitter for that as well I believe.

Thanks, but unfortunately that accessory plug was deleted on the 2024 model.
