I am mounting the Power Vision on my handlebars. I wanted to see if anyone else has done this and have some pictures where they placed it. I have it on the right side near the handlebar controls but it doesn't look right. I have an ipod on the other side and a GPS which was on the bike when I bought it. Any suggestions?

Not sure if you are familiar with our Road Glide Mount (link below) but we are in the process of developing a similar Mount for batwing fairing bikes that will position the unit right in the center of your fairing in the line of sight. We are still working on this unit and hope to have it released by June so I don't have any photos of you but it might be something to consider once it is released. Good luck with your search!

I am definitely interested in the mount you are developing. I was given an inexpensive mount to use by Fuel Moto and will start off with that one but I don't like where it is now. It puts the PV too close to the tank.

Sounds good. If you would like to send me your email address in a private message I can add you to our newsletter list which is how we will announce the release of the Street Glide Mount along with a post on the Forum.

Is this mount available yet? Need to mount my PV.

We are still in the R&D phase of developing a mounting solution for the Rushmore batwing fairing bikes similar to our current Street Glide Mount and hope to have it available by years end. As with any manufacturing / machining process, it is entirely possible that it could be the first of 2015 but we are doing out best to have it released yet this year.

With that, once the Mount has been released we will be making a post here as well as sending out an email to our Potato Soup email newsletter list. If you would like to be added to this list, you can subscribe via the link below. You will scroll down the page until you see the big yellow box with the heading "Potato Soup Email Newsletter"...simply fill out the appropriate details and you'll be added to the list.

I agree! I have not mounted my PV yet. I did grab the mount off the bench and held it up to the bars and said WTF that looks out of place.

not applicable for 2014/15 bikes tho..

Ah yes.... I stand corrected... the mount I posted is for 13 and older... thanks for the catch!

Lindsey updated her thread on 3-15-15 stating that they are not sure of a release date for the 14/15...

We are currently wrapping up a few things on a Mount for the redesigned '14 & newer batwing fairing and hope to have it available soon but unfortunately I cannot place a solid timeframe on the release at this point. My best suggestion would be to subscribe to our Potato Soup email newsletter which will be used to announce the release once available. To subscribe, just scroll down the page on the following link and enter your first / last name and email address and you will be added to the list.

Certainly let us know if you have any questions in the meantime.
