I switched to Redline Oil 2 years ago and I am pleased with it. I use their products in all 3 holes and I have never had a problem or unusual noises.

I am a big fan of KLOTZ. I run the 20w-50 in the engine , primary fluid in the primary and their transmission fluid .

I have noticed my clutches hook better than with primary fluid vs the 20w-50. but in my opinion Amsoil is just as good in the engine. hadn't tried their primary fluid.

I have been using Amsoil 20-50 in all three. I will try the new stuff in the tranny and primary at 10K this fall.

The reason people notice Synthetic oil is a bit noisier is because it is lower in viscosity at lower temperatures, like when you start up your bike. Where you really need synthetic oil is at high temperatures (I assume not many are starting their bikes at -20F where Synthetic oil would be great too). If your oil tank gauge is reading 250F the oil in the engine in between critical hot parts like pushrod ends against rockers or pistons against cylinder walls is much hotter - well over 300F. In these critical areas Synthetic oil will get the job done by maintaining a thicker viscosity and not forming varnish.

If you want a little thicker (quieter) oil here's one: Klotz Harley 25W-60
