Any opinions on the level of PITA to put RK wheels on a SG? They’re both Touring bikes, so I wonder if trading wheels might not be too hard.

I have a 2015 SGS with stock wheels. I have my buddy's Prodigy wheels from his 2020 Road Glide Special and I am wondering if they will fit on my 2015. The rear axle part numbers are different, 2020 PN 43000207, 2015 PN 43000213 however, I spoke with Longstar Harley today and they said both rear axles were the same diameter. Additionally, if you order rear wheel bearings, they are the same part number for both models. Has anyone made a change like this or have knowledge on the subject. BTW, the swing arms (rear fork) are the same. Please let me know.

Depending on the RK wheels if they are the turbine wheels you need new brake rotors as they bolt closer to the hub assembly. As the front is a 19inch wheel it wont scrub the inside of the fender, like what happens when a 21inch wheel is fitted. Rear wheel simple swap over.

Secondly yes the prodigy wheels will fit and you can use your original SG brake rotors

Thanks Nath103. Right now I have the stock Harley Enforcer wheels, 16-inch rear, 19-inch front on my 2015 Street Glide Special. I'm going to be replacing them with the Harley Prodigy Wheels, not the Turbine. Thought I had heard something about the rear axle diameter difference. I'm hoping for a direct bolt-up by swapping rotors and rear pulley. Wheels are off of my buddy's 2020 Road Glide Special (not Road King), they are 18-inch rear, 19-inch front and have 90 miles on them.
