I don't know how true to what I heard this weekend from a rider that I met this weekend, so I best ask the pro's here.

I was told to take my bike to a stealership and have my 103 program wiped clean and load 110 program to gain more HP & overall performance.....sounded strange and how's that possible......anyone?

This guy that told me has a Fatboy with 103 cu in and he said he had that done and pushing 130HP but he can't pull away from my SG.....I can actually pull away from him but I didn't to stay with the group. Next time we go riding I am going to run him to see what my bike can do......LOL!

If you all remember I asked a question way back last year on why my bike which was feeling lagging and can't pull away from a Sportster? Well, that was because I don't have my bike setup correctly but with my setup now I can launch and pull away from that same Sportster without any issues.

I also spoke with another rider this weekend and he was sold on Cobra Fi2000 tuner, he asked me to look it up and I am finding bad reviews about it. I am actually happy with my FP3 and my setup.....my bike runs very well, except for decal pops sometimes, tried all kinds of settings and no go....since it's only sometimes I have learned to live with it now.

Thanks all!

I think the Fatboy guy is full of it. If he was putting down 130hp with a lighter bike he should have walked a way from you. a 103 with a tune would do good to hit 100-105 hp. a built 107 with head work ect you may be looking at the 120s hp. as for the tune go get a tuner PVC with autotune or TTS. I am using a PCV with the Auto tune and I can adjust my timming and rev limit. I also can tune the bike with out taking it to the dyno. Power commander also has the powervision that works well 2.

I truly think so too.....he has a huge car tire on the back as he said size 200 will not last.......also he claims his bike has so much torque but he can't pull the bike off the ground......he is exaggerating a lot about his bike.....LOL!!!

I find it hard to believe a 103 would run correctly (if at all) on an ECM map made for a 110 let alone have increased performance. If the Fat Boys 103 has stock internals the factory cam will limit the possible TQ to around 110 and possibly 90 HP on a very good day.
I agree that Fat Boy sounds like a Gas Bag probably has SDS

I call Bull******t also. Most of the built 110's and 107's are good to about 110 to 115 with some a little better but not much. If he was pulling 130 out of that thing he would have dusted you in a hurry and I'm sorry but not with a stock tune.

I thought so....and if what he said is true why would anyone buy bigger motor, instead everyone will be going with 110 or 130 tune.......and stage VI kits will be sitting collecting dust......so he is full of crap.

FP-3 has the same options.
